Besley & Spresser is a studio of architecture based in Sydney. In 2021, the practice won a national competition for the Barangaroo Pier Pavilion, and in 2022 for a national memorial on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. The practice’s philosophy centres around crafting high quality architecture which stands the test of time. We work with materials from a “first principles” perspective, considering their innovative potential and whole-of-life use.
The two Directors, Peter Besley and Jessica Spresser, draw on their national and international experience and broad interests to propose and deliver bespoke, concept-driven pieces of architecture for a variety of private and public sector clients.
